We believe young people and women in Cameroon are not problems to be solved — they are assets to be activated.
Uthryve Network was founded with one conviction: that young people and women in Cameroon are not problems to be solved — they are assets to be activated. The gaps they face in education, income, opportunity, and voice are the result of systemic failures, not personal ones.
When the founding team began working in Yaoundé in 2024, they kept meeting talented young people and women who had drive and ideas, but no consistent pathway to skills training, public voice, or real support networks. They saw the same pattern across neighborhoods: potential was everywhere, yet opportunities were fragmented and too often out of reach for those who needed them most. Uthryve was created in response to that reality.
One Heart Community (OHC) is the registered charitable organisation behind Uthryve Network. Through OHC, we also work to improve the health, wellbeing, and livelihood of orphans and vulnerable children across Yaoundé — through social mobilisation, community-led programs, and grassroot training on fundamental life skills.
We are fully apolitical and non-religious — open to all. We operate under a three-tier governance structure and publish our financial results annually to the General Assembly.
The Team
To empower youth, women, and vulnerable communities in Cameroon through programs that foster social inclusion and equip individuals with the skills, voice, and leadership needed for sustainable development.
Through One Heart Community, we extend our reach to improve the health, wellbeing, and livelihood of orphans and vulnerable children across Yaoundé — providing food security, counselling, healthcare access, and safe habitats.
