This website, uthryve.org, is operated by One Heart Community (also known as Uthryve Network), a non-profit charitable organisation registered in Cameroon and headquartered in Yaoundé, Centre Region.

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us:

• Contact form: When you submit the contact form on this website, we collect your first name, last name, email address, the reason for your enquiry, and your message.
• Newsletter sign-up (where available): Your email address and name if you choose to subscribe to updates.
• Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate geographic region — collected via analytics tools on an anonymised basis.
• Cookies: Session cookies required for the contact form to function; analytics cookies if you have consented.

We do not collect payment information directly. All donations are processed via MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, Stripe, or PayPal — each governed by their own respective privacy policies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your contact form enquiry, typically within 3–5 business days
• To send programme updates or newsletters, only if you have opted in
• To understand how visitors use the website and improve it accordingly, using anonymised analytics data

4. Google Services

This website uses Google Analytics to understand visitor behaviour. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data. You can opt out at any time using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

This website may display Google Ads served under the Google Ad Grants programme for non-profits. These ads are served by Google and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

This site uses the Chatwoot support chat widget. Messages sent via this chat are subject to Chatwoot's privacy policy and are handled by the Uthryve team only.

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Session cookies — required for the contact form's CSRF protection. Deleted when you close your browser.
• Analytics cookies — Google Analytics sets cookies to track anonymised usage. These are only set if you have consented to analytics.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may prevent the contact form from working correctly.

6. Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained in our database for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are permanently deleted.

Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for the period set in our GA4 property settings (default: 14 months).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to or restrict how we process your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics or marketing emails at any time

uthryve.org uses HTTPS (TLS) across the entire site. Your data is stored on secure servers. We do not store passwords or payment card data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised Uthryve staff only.

This website may contain links to external websites — including donation platforms, partner organisations, and social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

10. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact info@uthryve.org and we will delete it promptly.
